Bag of Beans (with the Accounting group) ♥

After our day tour at Canyon Cove last Saturday, we decided to have an early dinner at Bag of Beans, Tagaytay before we head back to Manila.  I have heard good things about this resto but I have not really tried it.  So I am a little excited.  Before we went to the restaurant,  we bought "pasalubong" (souvenir) at their bakery.  I bought two raisin loaves and a banana loaf.  Will tell my verdict as I go along. This pot of blooms welcomed us, as we enter their bakery...  As I have earlier mentioned I bought 2 Raisin loaves that is P145.00 each for the small,  large one is at P290.00 and 1 banana loaf at P210.00. Fingers-crossed hoping that these goodies will impress my taste buds.  I bake and cook so I am a little hard to please when it comes to food. (*wink!) As we went down the wooden stairs - these colorful lanterns welcomed us. Gardenish feel...very chic and vintage: with plenty of rooms suitable for groups ...

Summer 2016 at the Cove♥

Hello everyone!  I am not really a beach person: my cousins and friends are completely aware of that.  I remember when I first went to Bora in 2004: it was more of my cousin's idea.  She told me that everyone is going ga-ga especially the foreigners in going to Boracay.  I'm from the Philippines and I haven't been there.  Okay, I'm not really into "waters"... I'm afraid of riding a "bangka" or boat.  Swimming pool is fine... beach water is actually a no-no: had skin allergies after Boracay and I told myself that will be the last.  I feel that the salt water is eating up my skin.  Anyway...  Last weekend our department opted to have our Annual team building/2nd quarterly meeting at Canyon Cove Hotel and Spa at Nasugbu Batangas.  It was a three and a half hours drive from Manila.  We started our day with fun games at the beach front.  14 in the department we are divided into two groups: I was the leader for T...

Summer getaway: East of Metro Manila♥

When we our planning our summer destination we often look for places in the south or north of Metro Manila.  Who would have thought that in the East you will find a great summer haven: Palo Alto Leisure & Residential Estates.   It's only an hour drive from Metro Manila located at Pinugay, Baras Rizal: developed by Sta.Lucia Realty & Dev., Inc. Amenities of the clubhouse includes: air-conditioned function and conference rooms, game room (billiards, darts and table tennis), outdoor basketball court, swimming pool with water slides, shower and dressing rooms, cottages on poolside. Additional attraction and facilities were being constructed like zip line and villas. Escape the hustle and bustle of city life... and why head to the south or north area where traffic is extremely heavy especially during this season... Go to a peaceful place... with a scenic view of the mountains in Rizal.♥
