Mango: Spring/Summer 2016♥

Hello my loves! Have you seen the latest Mango campaign?  Kendall Jenner is the new brand ambassador for Mango. There  Spring/Summer 2016 consists of  four themes, and starting up with "Tribal Spirit" .  Each theme is inspired by African savanna : dresses, ensembles with tribal prints. According to Mango, Kendall is "the best model to embody" the trend.  So expect earthy tones in this season's collection. Here are some of the exciting things that you can find in Mango's S/S2016: Flowy print dress P1,995.00 Embroidery bead dress P5,995.00 Bead embroidery dress P2,795.00 Flowy printed top P2,795.00 / Midi wrap skirt P2,295.00  Printed flowy shirt P1,995.00 / Flowy printed skirt P2,295.00 Printed cotton trousers P2,295.00 Circular embellishment necklace P1,795.00 Fringe leather bag P4,995.00 I have been a certified "MNG addict" ever since,  though there are a lot of new international brands opening up their...

Culottes are back!♥

source: mango.com Season's "IT" pants! I grew up wearing these.  What are Culottes ?  It's like a skirt but actually pants. They differ from Palazzo,  Pedal pushers or Capri pants. Palazzo trousers and culottes are both wide pants but the latter is midi length (fall from waist to the middle of the calf).   On the other hand pedal pushers and capris are calf length but are tight on the skin. source: mango.com  Tip on wearing your culottes:  Wearing midis tend to make you look shorter (coz of its calf length) so for me it looks better if you wear low/high heels or wedge shoes or sandals instead of flats.

Cover-up: Caftan & Kimono♥

Ooh SUMMER!  COVER-UPS are the season's must have... actually you can wear them any time of the year.  Aside from wearing it over swimwear you can also use it on: tank top + shorts/jeans, jumpsuit or dress.  The first cover up I had was like some kind of over-sized shirt, but through the years: the traditional caftans and kimonos were reinvented to become the modern day statement cover-ups (stylish robes).  Made from flowing, sheer garments either sleeveless and long sleeves: Fringes, tassels were added to give it a new twist... Length varies from short to ankle or floor length. Here are my choices of cover-ups that you can find locally: (in no particular order) Fringed print caftan - Mango P4,950.00 Printed reversible kimono - Mango P2,250.00 Fringed print caftan - Mango P1,950.00 Printed Kimono - Zara P2,250.00 Kimono with side split - Stradivarius P1,290.00 Print kimono with fringing on hem - Stradivarius P1,290.00 Patterned K...

Mango kicks♥

Can't remember the last time I wore rubber shoes. Hmmm... I am not a sneakers/rubber shoes kinda girl.  I'm not a shoeaholic!  Having a pair of pumps for work, stilettos for night outs or formal occasion, ballet flats is enough for me.  Honestly, a lot of shifts and changes started last year when I started wearing flats instead of sky high heels. Ditching my 5 inches work pumps for a 3 inches... wearing my fitflops rather than wedge sandals when I go malling.  Geez... SOA! (Sign of Old Age) *wink! Just last week, I got myself these Mango kicks!  I really wanted to buy one since last year but every time I go looking for one I end up not buying, since it's very expensive: Nike ranges from P4,500.00 to P6,000.00 well that's too much for a pair of shoes... (getting a little "Kuripot" (stingy) here...)  When I went to Mango boutique in Edsa Shangrila to check out their new collection - found these! Good thing they still have my size: 38.  It's ve...

Mini me bags♥

Have been always a lover of huge bags... (Maybe because I have a lot of "abubot"*).  Though I really adore cute things... like miniature perfume bottles, lipsticks... anything that is the mini version of something except for bags.  But lately I am slowly becoming a fan of "mini me" bags.   Here are some of the "mini me bags" that I have been eyeing for. (Guess I need to round them up to my 5 top picks!) 1. Louis Vuitton Alma BB bag : comes in epi leather, classic monogram canvas, damier ebene canvas and monogram vernis.  Dimension: 9.8"W x 7.5"H x 4.3"D .  Of course if it's from Louis Vuitton it does not come cheap. Monogram and Damier Canvas $1,200.00usd, Epi leather $1,590.00usd and Monogram vernis and Epi Electric leather $1,820.00usd My personal choice is the LV Alma bb epi!  It's undeniably gorgeous! Love the bright colors... All bags come with a cross body detachable straps, making it a two way bag.   LV alma ...

2013 Company Party♥

It was a toned-down Christmas party this year.  Without glitz and glamour!  But it was truly a fun and memorable night!  Even though a lot of companies decided not to have a party this year because of the series of calamities that our country is facing, our company's president still wanted to give back something to his beloved employees: For him it's a sign of thanksgiving to all who worked very hard for the company.   Themed: Back to 80's Party!  New wave music... and 80's rock ... really broke the house down... One of the important highlights of our party: We won 1st price in the Christmas Caroling contest!!! Where we sang OPM christmas carols (1 day practice only)... Congratulations to my group mates!!! It was a WELL DESERVED WIN for BASE 5! Simple yet memorable... that's how i can describe our party this year.  Lastly before i forget: my outfit for the party #oftp (i really need to share this one-*wink!) : It was inspired by Chanel's 2...

Blues + Dots♥

These days netizens are so fond of doing selfies... Sad to say, I am not. :( But I love sharing my styling on my Instagram and Facebook accounts.   It's been a tradition here in our office to allow us to be on civilian clothes from December 16th til the 29th.  So I am really excited since I will be able to share something about my passion. This is actually a late post: I wasn't able to go online yesterday since I am out with my cousin from Sydney. Last Tuesday, it's blue + dots! Top: Baby collar navy blue sleeveless blouson + trouser and polka dotted 3/4 blazer all from Mango. Accessories: Necklace: Stradivarious, Ring: Mango, Arm candies: Tory Burch square logo bangle +  Bvlgari half bangle bracelet and my all-time favorite vintage Bulova watch (i got this in 1995).

Finally! Got my MNG suitcase♥

Last Sunday, December 8... I got my exclusive Mango 20 inch suitcase!  It's a promo of Mango: P10,000.00 single receipt / P8,000.00 single receipt purchase if you're a RCBC Mango cardholder.  The promo ended last Sunday also, I missed the last time they had a suitcase giveaway (2 years ago).   It's totally cute! Love the polka dots design and the hot pink piping and zipper. I can't wait to use it on my next travel adventure! For Mango addicts like me: MANGO SALE starts tomorrow (December 12): Up to 50%  / Today (December 11): Exclusive sale preview for RCBC Mango cardholders

The Woods♥

Look#7: The Woods Still on the earthy tones for Fall... Chose the dress for its Forestry print, which is actually the focal point of the whole look.  Outfit from Mango : Landscape print oversize dress, added gold accessories from Fabulousity by Chiq♥ 's Timeless Tortoise and Fall/Winter 2013 Collection to spice up the whole ensemble.   Finished it up with Mango Touch's ankle boots and a leather clutch(which are really a must-have this season).

Cobalt blue + Zebra print♥

I have a meeting to attend today.  Office uniform from Monday to Friday I always look forward going to work on Saturdays because I will be able to do some fashionising for myself.  For today for a change I need to go to work on civilian clothes...Corporate business attire: I don't want to wear the good-classic black trouser and a plain or printed top.  That's really too boring for me! So I went for Zebra prints trousers: since it's more on black and white/animal prints this season and to add some pop of color a Cobalt blue blouse and of course a black tailored blazer (the whole ensemble are from Mango).   High heel pumps from Lady Rustan (excuse the stained vinyl office floor)  Nowadays it's really hard to find a comfortable high heel pumps, our company does not allow us to wear peep toe shoes... good thing I found this high heel pumps with 1-1/2" platform at Lady Rustan (Rustan's department store-Edsa Shangrila).   To to...
