I can still remember when I first opened my online boutique in Multiply, it was August 5, 2011.  When according to Chinese Feng shui, August is a ghost month and you should not open or start a business.  I was not into Feng shui that time but a few years after I checked that the ghost month in 2011 started on the 14th.  But I guess the stars lined up (for me) and through the graces and blessings from God... my business is still here. I thought that the closure of Multiply site is the end of that, but fortunately I was able to open a page on Facebook then later on I created an account on Instagram and continued what I have started.   Having a business is a walk in the park... I started making handmade accessories, headbands and then tried retailing (upon request of my clients/customers).  I source my items abroad, I pack and ship them myself, in short I am a one man band... But complaining is not in my vocabulary because I love what I'm doing.  I grew u...

I just can't imagine that my online boutique is 4 today!  I remember when I first took a plunge in the online selling world, when I got my first order in Multiply back then - I was very happy and excited. It was a really a fulfillment of a childhood dream (to have my boutique, even if it's not a physical store.. who knows maybe soon.. ), and I never expected that this dream will come true.   From Multiply to Facebook and last year I joined Instagram. Yes, there are ups and downs in businesses... (I was not spared from joy reservers...but I tried my best not to get affected, of course it's annoying but it's a part of selling - you will come across these kind of people)  but what I have learned from my grand parents is that you should always think positive, never give up and most importantly - be honest to your customers.  There are a lot of bogus sellers online but in order to gain the trust of someone, one should: (1) Be reliable, by doing what you say;...

I have this thing for piling or layering my arm candies.  (actually not just bracelets but also necklaces once in a while)  I love bracelets!  For me one isn't enough but 2 or 3 even 4 would just be fine! (*wink)  Though sometimes it really bothers me because of the clacking sound it makes especially when I am wearing resin bangles. (tiis ganda na lang). I miss doing this!  It's been a while... "Hello again! To my crafting tools, charms and especially my creative mind." It's been a while since I designed and crafted bracelets for my online shop.  Well, the two days holiday gave me a chance to make a couple of bracelets (God I really missed doing that!).  Stretchy bracelets piled or stacked together with bangles are soo coming back... It was a toned-down Christmas party this year.  Without glitz and glamour!  But it was truly a fun and memorable night!  Even though a lot of companies decided not to have a party this year because of the series of calamities that our country is facing, our company's president still wanted to give back something to his beloved employees: For him it's a sign of thanksgiving to all who worked very hard for the company.   Themed: Back to 80's Party!  New wave music... and 80's rock ... really broke the house down... One of the important highlights of our party: We won 1st price in the Christmas Caroling contest!!! Where we sang OPM christmas carols (1 day practice only)... Congratulations to my group mates!!!
