Recipe : Korean Corn Dog♥

This pandemic has taught us to be innovative...  I have 2 nephews living with us and instead of having home delivery all the time, I try to cook for them during weekends.  Two weeks ago while I was watching videos on You Tube I came across Chef RV's Channel and one of the recipes he shared was the korean corn dog.  I also do old-fashioned corn dogs at home using hotcake mix so this is not really new to me.  But this corn dog recipe is done from scratch (not using hotcake mix this time, but you can use it also if you want - just follow the procedure on the carton/box). In this Korean corn dog recipe I used chopped french fries instead of the usual bread crumbs. Ingredients: 6 pcs jumbo hotdogs cut into 3 1 box, 165grams Quick melt cheese cut into big cubes (same size as the hotdog)  1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1-1/2 tbsp sugar 1/2 tbsp cooking oil 1 egg 6 tbsp fresh milk 1/4 cup water 1/2 tbsp vinegar 1/4 tsp salt 3 cups of chopped uncooked f...

Easy French Toast Recipe♥

This is one of the food requests of my nephew Lance,  he loves bread like me.  Last Saturday I don't have work so I decided to make his favorite - French Toast.  We both love French Baker's French toast so this is my version of it. Ingredients: 8 slices of Gardenia White Bread (any bread of white bread can do) 2 eggs, beaten 3/4 cups evaporated milk 1 tsp sugar 1/4 tsp vanilla extract  2 tbsp butter 2 tbsp cooking oil Cinnamon (optional) Light/Pancake syrup (optional)  Beat the eggs then add the milk, vanilla extract and sugar (you can add 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder).  Mix until the ingredients are incorporated. Pour some wet mixture on a plate and dip both sides of the white bread.  Make sure that both sides are coated evenly. Cook coated bread slices on cooking oil and butter on a non-stick frying pan on medium heat until brown. Tada! Now you have a French Toast!(*wink) Served it as is or you may top with light pancake syrup.  Best served with Schu...
