Chanel: Métiers d’Art Costume Jewels Collection♥

source: chanel.com It always excites me every time Chanel launches its new costume jewelry collection.  For their Pre-fall 2015 the collection is called Métiers d’Art (Craftsmanship).  Karl Lagerfeld the ever famous creative director of the house of Chanel incorporated the work of the famous European artisans and Austrian Imperial.   Velvet, gemstones, pearls...   When you see the collection, it's like you are hearing the famous waltz by Strauss and Mozart.  Of course Chanel is known for classic pieces, but I find Métiers d’Art Collection -- Extravagant !

Let's do some grocery shopping with Chanel♥

More of Chanel Fall 2014 Collection.  Grand Palais was turned into a faux supermarket as the models walk the runway carrying their newest grocery inspired collection.  On my previous post I have already featured the costume jewelries for Fall 2014, now here are the bags!♥  Who would have thought that someone  will choose "supermarket or grocery" as an inspiration, it's only Karl Lagerfeld.    These are my choices, honestly some of it did not impress me at all. (Sorry!) Classic Chanel lambskin flap bag were presented like fresh meat.  With tags like 100% Agneau (lamb)... If the grocery basket would be as fabulous as this... I would love to go and shop everyday!   Sweet as a candy, Chanel candy clutch! I really find this so dainty...  Psychedelic pattern handbag... What I love about this was the pattern: very cool! The egg carton bag, which was not really a bag but a jewelry organizer! Milk bag!♥ Love...

Luxe egg carton♥

Can you just image an egg carton as a luxury bag?   In the 2014 Fall collection of Chanel they have introduced grocery or supermarket inspired items.  There are several pieces that caught my attention and this is one of them. Actually when I researched about the bag, it was not actually a bag as expected it was a jewelry organizer. When you open it:  looks like this!  And I totally love it!♥ Being a lover and collector of accessories I find this very interesting... unique... and of course it's Chanel! Photo credit: From Google

2013 Company Party♥

It was a toned-down Christmas party this year.  Without glitz and glamour!  But it was truly a fun and memorable night!  Even though a lot of companies decided not to have a party this year because of the series of calamities that our country is facing, our company's president still wanted to give back something to his beloved employees: For him it's a sign of thanksgiving to all who worked very hard for the company.   Themed: Back to 80's Party!  New wave music... and 80's rock ... really broke the house down... One of the important highlights of our party: We won 1st price in the Christmas Caroling contest!!! Where we sang OPM christmas carols (1 day practice only)... Congratulations to my group mates!!! It was a WELL DESERVED WIN for BASE 5! Simple yet memorable... that's how i can describe our party this year.  Lastly before i forget: my outfit for the party #oftp (i really need to share this one-*wink!) : It was inspired by Chanel's 2...

Timeless PEARLS♥

Amongst all the precious stones aside from diamond: Pearl is considered classic and timeless!  In my younger days, I am not really a fan of pearls.  Hearing a myth from old folks back then that for single ladies, pearls represent tears, so you should not wear them. My jeweler actually told me that isn't true.  Pearls are classic, and I can wear it on casual or formal occasion. (At the moment I have 2 pairs of South sea pearl stud and dangling pearl earrings, few faux pearls bracelet and necklace). Recently, Chanel Gial Pearl necklaces dominated the runway at Paris Grand Galais: It featured huge bundled glass pearls necklaces and bracelets.  It was so fabulous! I love them... Chanel actually was one of the reasons why I changed my notion about pearls... Of course, Chanel accessories really costs a fortune: that bundled glass pearl necklace costs a whooping $32,000.00 (as per elle.com)... Though you may find Chanel inspired pearl necklaces in the market ...
