I will not miss writing my thoughts about this one!  Plains & Prints is one of my favorite local brands, and I can honestly say that I  have a couple of P&P clothes in my closet. For their 25th anniversary they collaborated with 13 top Filipino designers and 2 internationally acclaimed photographers.   Some of them have previous collaborations with Plains and Prints for the past 25 years.  I watched their preview event or grand reveal live on Instagram.  Of course I have my top choices.  I go for classic (everyday) wearable outfits.  A total of 30 amazing outfits making it one of the exciting collaborations in the Philippine fashion industry. Hiyee!  Recently, I have been so addicted with brooches.  Yes I know some of you think that brooches are for old people (very old fashion) - our grandma, lola, mamita, nonna... that's what I also thought before.  But I remember wearing one during my college days in UST (because of the neckline of my uniform).   Brooches have a certain way of personalizing and accessorizing your outfit... Shang Style spectrum presents Summer Silhouettes last May 14, 2016 at the East Atrium.  The annual fashion show features the latest collection from our favorite shops in Shangrila mall.  My nephew was lucky enough to be chosen by Gingersnaps (again) to be one of their models.  Lance was one of the winners of the Gingersnaps Model Search for their 20th Anniversary (2014), so this was not really new to him. Lance with Lulu his co-model at Gingersnaps boutique before the fashion show Jasmine, Lance, Lulu, Sophia and Ystelle It was like a little reunion of these kiddos... after 2 years.  Still an awesome experience for Lance and his model friends... Again thank you Gingersnaps for the opportunity!

I remember when my Ate turned 18, she wore an off shoulder midi-gown.  Hmmm, that was 25+ years ago, and now it's making a comeback. Bare those shoulders, my dear! I grew up calling this a "Romper" .  Now it's either called a jumpsuit, play suit, onesies or a one-piece suit.  It's an outfit: incorporating the trousers and top in one. Very similar to the what the skydivers wear.  I love wearing jumpsuits because you need not look for a top to match your pants, shorts or skirt. source: mango.com Season's "IT" pants! I grew up wearing these.  What are Culottes ?  It's like a skirt but actually pants. They differ from Palazzo,  Pedal pushers or Capri pants. Palazzo trousers and culottes are both wide pants but the latter is midi length (fall from waist to the middle of the calf).   On the other hand pedal pushers and capris are calf length but are tight on the skin. source: mango.com  Tip on wearing your culottes:  Wearing midis tend to make you look shorter (coz of its calf length) so for me it looks better if you wear low/high heels or wedge shoes or sandals instead of flats.
