Ahoy there! Captain Mochi turns 3♥

August 15, 2020, God sent you down to me...  I feel blessed that you came at the time when I needed somebody to make me sane because we are in the middle of the pandemic.  I thanked my sister's friend and my Ate for choosing me to be your furry god mum.  I got you few days before you turned 2 months... Fiesty at first but slowly after a few days you started to be clingy little balut.   I am very proud of your accomplishments!  Last year you were chosen to be a part of 50 most InPawential Dogs of Simparica Trio and this year you finished Top 5 in SM Megamall's PupStar.  I hope you know how proud mum is to you. Mochi is a super sweet and easy to train dog.  Aside from sitting and waiting he was already potty trained before he turned 3 months.   My little fashionista bebe is well-known for his happy and jolly aura.  He is truly a smiley dog!  Once you see him smiling it will truly change your mood.  Truly a head turner, whene...

10 things to know about a Maltipoo♥

source: Google Maltipoo is a popular cross breed between maltese and toy or miniature poodle.  Even though they are not recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) (because they are not pure bred) these dogs are considered designer breeds.    I have a Maltipoo and his name is Mochi. He is two years old now and I wanted to share my experiences with him if you are planning to get one. Here are the 10 things you need to know in owning a Maltipoo: Low shedding - that is why they are considered a hypoallergenic breed.  It does not shed that much so they are safe for allergy sufferers.  Based on my experience, some members of my family have allergies including me but luckily we don't have allergy attacks having a maltipoo in our home.  As per AKC there is no such thing as a 100% hypoallergenic dog.  Dander which is attached to a pet hair is what causes most dog allergies in people.  Since Maltipoo's coat is silky and soft it allows dander to fall out....

Mochi: My Maltipoo♥

He is one the reasons why I am completely sane during this pandemic.  Yes, I know many of us have developed anxiety and depression during this time and I am very thankful to my sister for giving him to me.  I thought I won't be able to take care of him because having a dog is really a responsibility and yes it's costly.   Mochi's Gotcha Day - October 12, 2020 In a few months he will be turning one year old... definitely he is no longer a puppy... but for me he will always be a puppy forever. The good thing about the maltipoo: is they retain their puppy looks they actually looks like an adorable little teddy bear (even if they are adult dogs already).  I never really imagined that I will be this attached to him... and my family too.  Aside from my two nephews my mom loves him dearly. Mochi's first grooming at Mr.Pawsph Whenever I feel under the weather, he is my little ball of sunshine... After a long and stressful day at work, seeing him very excited to see...
