Plains & Prints Beyond 25♥

I will not miss writing my thoughts about this one!  Plains & Prints is one of my favorite local brands, and I can honestly say that I  have a couple of P&P clothes in my closet. For their 25th anniversary they collaborated with 13 top Filipino designers and 2 internationally acclaimed photographers.   Some of them have previous collaborations with Plains and Prints for the past 25 years.  I watched their preview event or grand reveal live on Instagram.  Of course I have my top choices.  I go for classic (everyday) wearable outfits.  A total of 30 amazing outfits making it one of the exciting collaborations in the Philippine fashion industry. Amina Aranaz - well-known for her bag line.  She offers perfect coordinates of shirt dress and pants.  The shirt dress costs P2,498.00 and pants P2,198.00 Celeste top and pants & Clara top and pants Anthony Ramirez - he is well known for evening wear and bridal gowns.....

Let's celebrate with Plain & Prints' 20th Anniversary in Style!  Got so lucky last Saturday (P&P Preview at Glorietta 1), I was able to get what I wanted.  The Jaipur blouse (P1,398.00) and Taragarh skirt (P1,598.00) from the 20th Anniversary Collection of Plains & Prints. That's the first outfit (left) that Anne is wearing on the photo.  I loved it, super!♥  On their 20th anniversary they collaborated with the premiere Pinoy photographers: Mark Nicdao (Palace of Kings Collection) and Wig Tysmans (Photographic Memories Collection).   Palace of Kings showcases Mark Nicadao's photographs during his travel in India: it's culture, architecture.  Photographic Memories by Wig Tysmans shows the beauty of Baguio in the late 70's and early 80's.   The Palace of Kings is now available in stores nationwide and on their website: www.plainsandprints.com What are you waiting for?  Go the nearest store or you can s...

Cover-up: Caftan & Kimono♥

Ooh SUMMER!  COVER-UPS are the season's must have... actually you can wear them any time of the year.  Aside from wearing it over swimwear you can also use it on: tank top + shorts/jeans, jumpsuit or dress.  The first cover up I had was like some kind of over-sized shirt, but through the years: the traditional caftans and kimonos were reinvented to become the modern day statement cover-ups (stylish robes).  Made from flowing, sheer garments either sleeveless and long sleeves: Fringes, tassels were added to give it a new twist... Length varies from short to ankle or floor length. Here are my choices of cover-ups that you can find locally: (in no particular order) Fringed print caftan - Mango P4,950.00 Printed reversible kimono - Mango P2,250.00 Fringed print caftan - Mango P1,950.00 Printed Kimono - Zara P2,250.00 Kimono with side split - Stradivarius P1,290.00 Print kimono with fringing on hem - Stradivarius P1,290.00 Patterned K...

Plains & Prints: Pre-lude to Spring/Summer 2015♥

Time for a closet update this SUMMER? Every season I always look forward on the latest designs of Plains and Prints, especially when they have a Preview event. (make it a point to be there)   You get to see their latest collection and be one the first to shop before anyone else.  This year they are also celebrating their 20th year.  So that means I have been a loyal customer of this famous and much-loved local brand for twenty years already.  Well, I have their Partnership card... (Perfect partnership, right?! - haha!) Got this invite yesterday when I visited their shop in Edsa Shangrila Mall, actually  I also got one via email.  (excited much!)  Preview will be on March 13, 14 and 15 at Edsa Shangrila mall their store is located at the 5th level as well as in Trinoma, Ayala Center Cebu, SM Lipa and SM Davao. See you all there!

P&P Holiday 2014 Preview♥

Two reasons why I wanted to go to the Holiday preview of Plains & Prints: To be the first to have the holiday dress that I am eyeing for; and Avail their new partnership card.  I made it yesterday at Shang-rila Mall!  Got the Iman dress, glad they still have my size (I'm a medium).  Traffic was worse: from our place going to Ortigas, but it's worth it!  More reds, orange, blues on the clothes racks... The dress comes with the usual P&P box, but for this Holiday season it was designed by one the country's well-known designer Rhett Eala which was also a part of their creative team (in line with their 20th anniversary on 2015).  I also got a couple of perks yesterday, aside from the complimentary cupcakes and bottled water for the shoppers: I also received a 2015 Limited edition desk calendar and of course "Partnership card" .  P&P Partnership card:   This replaces their Prestige discount card: on which you get 10% for a...

P&P Holiday 2014 preview♥

So happy! They will also have it at Shangrila Mall.  And it's happening tomorrow!  I was not able to make it last week at their preview in Trinoma.  I am excited to see some of the new holiday dresses that Plains and Prints is offering this year.  I have visited their Sta. Lucia Branch to browse their catalogue.  Loving the Shanghai maxi dresses, Iman dress one Anne is wearing on the photo above and Hanna SL dress.

Plains and Prints Pre Fall Preview 2014♥

Totally cute "Afternoon tea party theme" for Plains and Prints: Pre Fall 2014 Preview at Edsa Shangrila Mall last June 19.  Unfortunately I was not able to be there on the day of the launch because I am at the office.  But during breaks I visit their Facebook and Instagram accounts for updates on what's happening.  When I saw the photos:  I told myself I really need to be there to experience it.  Was planning to go Saturday, but decided to visit Friday instead. Few remnants of their Afternoon Tea Party decor Well before the actual preview, I already have my top picks.  When I first saw it on their BTS photoshoot...posted on their IG: I said to myself "Well, well, I need to have that dress!"  It was from their Uptown Girl Collection.  The "Funny SL dress" one with Audrey Hepburn print. Rhett Eala their creative director really did an amazing job on making their Pre Fall 2014 Collection, plus the styling of Liz Uy and of course Anne Curtis...
