Colourpop Haul 2021♥

I don't know if this would be something appropriate to share at this point but I know everyone was beginning to experience anxiety with the recent turn of events.  It is like we are back to square one in terms of Covid-19.  But I still decided to just to make everyone smile and feel beautiful. Last January, I bought a couple of cosmetics from Colourpop (because they have a promo).  I have been using Colourpop since 2017, and I really love their eyeshadows.  My favorite is the "EGO" which was already phased out, then the "Brown Sugar" palette which was also phased out as well.  For this year's haul I will be trying on new palettes but of course they are on the nude/neutral or brown/earth shades.   Here are my recent Colourpop haul for the year 2021♥ Eyeshadow : For the palettes - Nude Mood, That's Taupe, Wild Child and Crush.  I also bought an extra pressed powder eyeshadow in Ringer.  Foundation : I purchased a No Filter Foundation stick whic...

Make up: Colourpop Love♥

I have been into cosmetics nowadays... Well that started when I discovered "Colourpop"... 2 years ago.  Honestly, I am not used in wearing make up.  I remember when I was first applying for a job in Makati, the interviewer told me "Iha, don't you wear make up?" and I said: "No, Ma'am I don't know how to apply and I am not used to wearing make up po".  Then she goes, "You should learn especially when you are applying for a job, it won't hurt if you put a little make up."  I got the job though... but it made me wonder - Do I looked awful that day? hahaha.. I only used baby powder on my face, anyway... (that was years ago)  The first face powder I used was Shine free it was good then my cousin in the USA introduced "Clinique" to me which is the pressed powder I was using for 20 + years now... sometimes I alternate it with L'Oreal when the shade I am using was not available.  I also use L'Oreal Infallible liquid fou...

Vice Cosmetics - Good Vibes Matte Lipstick♥

I've been into lippies lately... I don't know why.  Maybe because I am still in search for the perfect nude for me...  For the first time I will be trying a local brand..  Yes, you heard me right! It's my first time to try... It's not that I am not proud of Philippine made products, it's just that I don't really buy make ups - most of my cosmetics were gifts from friends and relatives from the US, so I am not used to local brands, but I have already tried Avon and Nichido eyeliners.  Actually the case really caught my attention - I love it : it's hot pink!♥ While going around Watsons near my office I saw a kiosk of Vice cosmetics...(curious of course) of all the shades of course I had to go with this - Hayabayabayu (a little hard to pronounce) it's a soft peachy nude shade under it's Good Vibes Matte lipstick collection.   I am not into matte lipsticks but according to it's website that it's a  "matte lipstick that...

Colourpop♥

Hiyee!  I know it's been a while since my last entry.  Been so busy lately - dealing with the new set of auditors hired by our company.  The transition from old auditors to new ones is tedious... oh well I am not really sharing that.. haha... so let's go back to Colourpop.  Yes, you read it right... I am writing about make up.  I know I am not into make up, but finding the right one especially lippies and powder is a must for me.  I am quite contented with Clinique double pressed powder in Matte Honey but the journey in finding the right lipstick continues...  Not only finding the right color (I'm into nudes), but finding one that will not dry my lips.  The problem with some lipstick - they leave my lips dry and flaky.  I have tried Kylie in Candy K - it's okay (but not the kind of nude that I am looking for), and  have read many reviews that it's similar to Colourpop: and the later being less pricey than Kylie.  I wanted to bu...

Summer make up essentials♥

It's summer!  I don't often share anything about make up but these days i have a "thing" about make ups.. hahaha... I do wear light make up for work or when I go out with friends. Couple of years ago I am so engrossed with bronzers because of Jennifer Lopez.  I really wanted her look... Nude lips x bronze cheeks - i loved it!  Before I used L'oreal bronzer before - I bought it from Duty free, it's not available in any make up or department stores here in the Metro.  Now that bronzer is phased out, tried searching for a new one.. But the thing is - it's not that too important to me...back then (*wink)  Until I saw Kathryn Bernardo's boho look in ASAP.   Went to Beauty bar at Eastwood City and found this Cargo Bronzer - swimmable water resistant bronzer that is available in shimmer and matte.  It is made in Canada and costs P1,350.00.  I bought the bronzer with shimmer because I wanted a little glow or shine.   *I do wear m...

Louboutin for LIPS♥

source: Google.com What will first come into your mind when you hear "Louboutin" ?  Shoes! (of course) Last year CL launched their nail polish line: so I am not really surprised when they came out with their lipstick collection.  Yes, I am not a make up or lipstick fan: why I am blogging about this?  I love accessorizing! The lipstick cap has a ring and it also includes a ribbon so you can turn it into a necklace.  Love the concept!  So each time you want to re-touch your lippy, no need to reach on to your purse or make up kit.  source: Google.com The lipstick is inspired by Art deco, Babylon architecture and Middle eastern period.  They look like spear heads or mermaid tails dipped in metal and the cap is like a crown.   source: Google.com The line has 36 shades and comes in three textures: Velvet Matte which has nine colors, Sheer Voile also features nine shades and twenty shades of Silky Satin.  Each lippy costs $90.0...

Clinique superbalanced double face powder♥

Thanks to my BFF for this pasalubong! Yes, even though there are Clinique products available here in Manila: the shade that I am using is no longer available here.  After visiting Rustans department store and a couple of stand alone Clinique stores - "no success" in finding Matte Honey.  The sales associate told me that it was phased out already.  When I checked out the Clinique website : it is still available in the USA.  And of course, my BFF to the rescue!  She got it from Macy's at $24.00 ($24.00 x P47.50), here double face powder is sold at P1,750.00.  (It's P610.00 cheaper when you buy it there.)   Compact is still in iconic Clinique green and comes with a washable sponge.   What I love about Clinique's superbalanced double face powder, aside from being hypoallergenic and really "hiyang" (suited) to my skin. It is a powder and foundation in one, full-(matte) coverage and it's long-lasting:  No touch ups neede...

Clinique Even better Powder make up♥

As we age our skin needs to be nourished and properly taken cared of.  I remember when I first had my job interview, the interviewer asked me if I don't really wear make up.  I am not really a make up person, but from that time I realized that we need to put a little on to make ourselves presentable,  battle oil and protect our face from the sun's harmful rays.  Not sure of what brand to get, because I am afraid that it might not suit my skin and give me breakouts.  My cousin from the US introduced Clinique to me, from that day: I am a Clinique user. I bought Clinique's double face powder in Matte honey and I loved it.  Used it for years... but recently that color was no longer available here in Manila.  Tried their other powder and liquid make up: Two years ago, the Clinique sales assistant introduced their Even better line to me.  I was really looking for something mild, long lasting and of course with SPF.  Since I still have my Cliniqu...
