I have been into cosmetics nowadays... Well that started when I discovered "Colourpop"... 2 years ago. Honestly, I am not used in wearing make up. I remember when I was first applying for a job in Makati, the interviewer told me "Iha, don't you wear make up?" and I said: "No, Ma'am I don't know how to apply and I am not used to wearing make up po". Then she goes, "You should learn especially when you are applying for a job, it won't hurt if you put a little make up." I got the job though... but it made me wonder - Do I looked awful that day? hahaha.. I only used baby powder on my face, anyway... (that was years ago) The first face powder I used was Shine free it was good then my cousin in the USA introduced "Clinique" to me which is the pressed powder I was using for 20 + years now... sometimes I alternate it with L'Oreal when the shade I am using was not available. I also use L'Oreal Infallible liquid foundation. So for the past 25 years I am just happy with the Clinique pressed powder and lipstick... until I discovered Colourpop. (But before Colourpop I also bought Kylie liquid lipstick it's pricey but almost the same formula of Colourpop)
My first Colourpop purchase (in 2017) were 2 ultra satin liquid lippies which are Magic wand and Strip, Lippie stix in I'm yours, Lip primer, Super shock eye shadow in wattles, pressed powder eye shadow in Ego, and a highlighter in Lunch Money. It was a big risk for me because I am not sure if the cosmetics will work for me and not give me breakouts.. I just based my purchase on the reviews I read online. And the rest is history... (*wink)
I have my favorites after that first purchase: Loved the Ultra satin liquid lipsticks, the shades are perfect! For someone who's into nudes... The pressed powder eye shadow in Ego was my all-time fave I was able to purchase 2 before it was phased out. Their eye shadows were super pigmented and easy to apply, and that started my addiction to Colourpop's eye shadows. Lunch money highlighter was also super nice! And it was my first time to use highlighters and I liked it.

After that purchase 2 years ago... I have been a lover of Colourpop. When Ego (eye shadow) was phased out I need to try other shades... Then Colourpop came up with their "Brown Sugar" Collection. I bought that I shadow palette and it was super love!
I recently ordered my 2nd palette because I am afraid that they would phase it out again. I also bought (to try) their "Going Coconuts"... a much lighter nude shades... Actually before purchasing the Going Coconuts it was a battle between the Nude Mood palette. hihi...

Colourpop's bestseller was Lunch money and Flexitarian. Both are awesome products... Lunch money is a little lighter than the Flexitarian. At first I don't know how to use or apply a highlighter, but through research online (by watching make up tutorials online) I was able to know how to apply the product. For those who does not know how to apply a highlighter: After applying you face make up (foundation, concealer and blush), (a) Apply highlighter on top of your cheekbones; (b) Dab a little on the tip of your nose. You may also brush a little down the center of your forehead and on the chin. But for me I only apply highlighter on top of my check bones and on my nose, so my face won't look that oily.

*Concealer
I am a late bloomer when it comes to make up, not really used in applying concealer. The first time I used one was concealer stick of L'Oreal. But under the eyes I realized that it was better to use liquid concealer to hide those dark circles. I tried Colourpop's No filter matte concealer in Medium dark 32. I don't like light shade make up... My make up peg is JLo... bronzy natural look. (*wink). I don't like too light around my eyes... I wanted my concealer or foundation to be a shade darker than my skin tone.
Aside from that I recently purchased a No filter stix concealer in Medium 110W (from Colourpop). I have not tried it yet.. But it has good reviews though. I will try to make a review once I have used it.
*Lipstick
I am not into matte lippies, because it dries my lips... So when I decided to try Colourpop's liquid lipstick, I bought their Lippie stix and one (each) Ultra satin lipstick in Strip and Magic wand. Oh I also purchased a lip primer in order to protect my lips from drying before I apply a lipstick. But to my surprise I don't need to apply the primer before using their Ultra satin liquid lipstick it did not dry my lips. And of course I feel in love with the shades.
Verdict: ♥♥♥♥.5
I love Colourpop cosmetics that is why I kept on buying them again and again.. hahaha... It works for me ("hiyang"). I should have gave it 5 (hearts) but the downside is - it's hard to purchase the product, I need to buy it from abroad. Yes, you can buy it from online sellers here in the Philippines, but I am afraid that I'll get fake ones. I just purchase the products directly from their website, so whenever it's time buy again... I try to offer a pre-order of Colourpop products on my online boutique.
PS: I also purchased their "No filter loose setting powder, I also have not tried it yet will also post a review next time.
