Pag-ibig MP2 Withdrawal update♥

At last after almost two months of waiting, I finally got my Pag-ibig MP2 Investment.  Yes it took a while because I have encountered a problem with the withdrawal.  I don't know but I find it unusual.  

The Story:

Two weeks (March 26, 2025) after I have submitted my withdrawal application at the Pag-ibig Fund Kiosk at Robinsons Metro East.  I received a text message : That I need to confirm the payment under my nickname and attach a proof of payment.  I am kind of shock about this because how did they learn about my nickname.  Good thing, I print all my GCash payment confirmation receipts.  

I went right away at the Kiosk the following day and presented the documents they have requested.  I told the Pag-ibig staff that it should not be a problem, it does not matter who sent the payment as long as the account number is correct.  She said that the Pag-ibig Antipolo office questioned why I have 2 deposits/payments in the month of December 2024.  And they are also confirming my nickname, I told her that yes that is my nickname, but still curious - Why?  But they did not gave me a definite answer.  She just told me that as much as possible not to make more than one MP2 remittance every month. I did not argue anymore, I just want the issue to be settled.  She took a photo of my December receipts and forwarded it to Antipolo Main.  

My take about this issue:  As long as it was paid on a certain account number it should be considered a valid payment.  No questions regarding the person who sent it.  I do make SSS remittances using my Gcash/Maya Account for my siblings I hope it will not be a problem in the future.

The Pag-ibig staff also informed me that since I chose to be paid in check, she told me that they no longer release checks on the Kiosk I need to go to their Antipolo Main branch.  But she told me I can opt to bank deposit : BPI, BDO and Union Bank are the banks available for transfer.  Since I have a BPI account I provided my account number.  She told me that I will be receiving a text message once my MP2 was already deposited/transferred to my account.

A month (April 28, 2025) after the submission of the additional documents they requested, I went back to the Pag-ibig Kiosk to follow up my MP2 withdrawal.  (Note: I did not receive any SMS message)  The staff told me that there is already a check and called Antipolo Main to follow up also.  She told me its was dated April 14, 2025 - P6x,xxx.xx I still earned 3 months interest from January to March 2025. 

The next day: It was already deposited but need to wait another 3 days for it's clearing.  On my mind... if I did not follow up, they will not deposit it? hmmm... 

Anyway...

Yes, I already got it...  had little problem but what's important I got my investment.  I earned around P10,000.00 not bad, right!

If you ask me where will I use my money... I will reinvest it again - I already have a new MP2 account. (*wink!)
