Review: Happy Skin Off-Duty Seamless Perfecting Foundation♥

I am recently in search again for a liquid foundation that will suit my skin.  BLK has phased out their Airy matte liquid foundation.  I truly loved it, that is why it's sad that it was no longer available.  When I went to the BLK shop they offered me the Universal Skin tint sun shield.  The problem with sun screen (all sunscreens I have tried) - small bumps and red rashes develops on my skin.  I have accepted the fact that I cannot use sun screen, maybe I am allergic to one of the ingredients of a sunscreen (any brand).  But I still bought the BLK Universal Skin Tint Sunshield hoping that I will not have allergic reactions.  After using it for a week... my skin started to develop rash, so I stopped using it.  Sad because I am beginning to like the product.  No offense to BLK Cosmetics the product is good but it does not work for me.  (Hoping they will bring back their Airy Matte Liquid foundation).    

I remembered that Happy Skin and Blk Cosmetics are sister companies, so I felt maybe they have the same formulation.  That is why I dropped by Plains and Prints in Opus mall because there is a Happy Skin counter there.  The Beauty Specialist  offered me the - Happy Skin Off-Duty Seamless Perfecting foundation.

Happy Skin Off-Duty Seamless Perfecting Foundation - First thing to describe this Foundation and Skin Care in one.

Skin Care : As stated in Happy Skin's official website - "Formulated with moisturizing Ceramides,  anti-aging Bakuchiol and oil controlling Crodarom, this powerful boosted foundation delivers over all care for healthy and glowing complexion."  How amazing is that?  Make up + Skin care right!  

Foundation : The foundation is unscented and comes in a thick glass, pump bottle.  Originally it has 12 shades (when it was launched last year) but now it has 17.  If you know me I am into medium shade (loving the bronzy sun-kissed look).  In BLK I usually get Butterscotch. First time to use Happy Skin through the help of the Beauty Specialist I chose the Caramel Beige.  (It's a choice between Amber and Caramel).

• Wear time - 16 hours,  I don't really do touch-ups within the day. Morning application and that's it!

Non-sticky feel, it does not crack or cake.  The only downside it that it does not have SPF.  Normally foundations that I have used like : Clinique, L'Oreal and BLK have at least 15 to 35 SPF.  Well, it's okay because I always use Clinique moisturizer cream (SPF 35) + Pond's Age Miracle Day cream (SPF 15 PA++) before applying foundation: so I still have the sun protection that I need.

At the moment I am okay with this foundation after one week use, I have no allergic reaction.  By the way, I also bought their Second Skin Multi-tasking Serum Concealer (Corrector) in Peach for my under eye.  Got a make up pouch with it!  Will make a review next time. (*wink)
