One of the much awaited collaborations this year : Sunnies x Monchhichi!♥ Sunnies is the first local brand that collaborated this monkey plushie.

For those who are not familiar with Monchhichi: it is a Japanese stuffed monkey which was launched in 1974. I am one of the super fans of this cutie Monkey when I was in high school, but that time I cannot afford to have one (that time). Just this year, I asked my friend in Japan to buy me one Monchhichi plushie bag charm (so I have one cutie doll). That is why when I heard about this collaboration, I am really excited. Hoping that I could get the Sassy girl key chain. Waited and watched their TikTok live in order to pre-order their Monchhichi Sassy Girl key chain. Unfortunately, I was not able to get one. Maybe because they only drop few number of units per item. Just like during the Labubu hype, it's hard to score even just 1 Labubu from the Pop mart live.

I am still hoping that they will be able to open their pre-order for the Sassy Girl keychain soon. By they way, there are a lot of merchs available for this collab: Flask, luggage tags, eyeglass hard case, mirror key chain, powder pouch, vanity bag and sweatshirts.
Hey, though I was not able to get the bag charm... I am lucky enough to get a powder pouch. (and a luggage tag - but this is still in transit). I received my powder pouch yesterday and here's how it look.
The furry powder pouch is soft, the embroidery is nicely done, with zip enclosure and a has a red caraniber so you can easily hang it on your bag. The Sunnies Face compact powder fits in this pouch perfectly. But you can also use it as a coin purse, Airpods/earphones holder and a trinket pouch. As long as it fits in this 4 inches diameter pouch.
The interior of the pouch is lined with butter yellow polka dots fabric.

Why I gave that score?
- I feel it's a little overrated. Yes it's nicely done, but I find it a little expensive for the price which is P545.00
- Hyping the product too much... (it's not bad to hype products sometimes but with this "parang OA") I felt they're just copying Pop Mart's strategy. With 500+ viewers only (during their live) it's hard to even get one item. During Pop Mart's live before - viewership reaches around 1,000+ to 2,000+ viewers. (it's understandable if you weren't you able to purchase 1 labubu) Some of the comments I read during Sunnies Tiktok live was viewers feel that they only upload few units of the items - maybe maximum of 5.
- Based on my personal experience: they announced during the live that you get an exclusive Sunnies x Monchhichi gift bag with every purchase. But when I got my order yesterday, it did not come with a gift bag. I messaged / commented on their live yesterday the live seller that time apologized that there was a misunderstanding. I told her that it was continuously mention during the live that every purchase will come with the exclusive gift bag.. but she said for the powder pouch is not included? Me: huh?! (don't want to argue anymore at least I have said my piece) I know it's just a bag, but that's false advertising. The luggage tag I purchased is arriving soon.. let's see.
