Bag Trends 2026 : Early Predictions♥ (Part 2)

As promised here is the Part 2 of my Bag Trends forecast for 2026.  But before I start, I hope the Part 1  (Bag Trends 2026 : Early Predictions Part 1)helped you choose which bag to get or maybe you have checked your closet which bag you have kept for a long time and this is the best moment to use it again.

The cylindrical shaped bag it's a small version of a duffle bag.  The only difference is that it's more structured.  This bag have come and go as far as I can remember, I hope to see a lot of this in the market that is budget friendly.

Bucket bags continue to be on trend since it's revived by Mansur Gavriel in 2013.  The bucket shaped deep and cylindrical bag with flat bottom traditionally have drawstring enclosure but some versions use  magnetic snaps and other fastenings.  The bag is versatile, functional and stylish.  In the 90's, I have a Ralph Lauren Houndstooth design barrel, I still have it now.  Maybe I can have it restored ... hmmm...it still looks good but needs intensive cleaning.

YSL Icarino (source: Saint Laurent)

As per Vogue Australia they have called this the "Curveball".  The bag is very similar with the "croissant" shaped bags (which are soft and slouchy) but this has more structure.  These bags are more of a hand, shoulder or what we call here in the Philippines the "kili-kili" (armpit) bag.

Raffia bag trend is still on the go next year with different structures and design.  From bucket bags, totes (large or minis) - perfect for Spring/Summer 2026.

These are all for now... any additions I will just make updates...
