Review: Christy Ng Russo Tote

New Year... New Bag... Let's make a review. :)

If you really wanted that Goyard St.Louis Tote and does not have a budget for it.  Don't fret... Check out Christy Ng Russo Tote bag.  Christy Ng (pronounced as Christy "Ung") is a Malaysian brand that offers bags and shoes.  They recently opened their first shop here in the Philippines at SM Mega Mall.  

I have learned about this brand in social media, quite interested with it.  I really wanted to visit their shop at Mega Mall to see the bags up close but unfortunately every time I try there are a lot of people inside the store.  That is why when my sister gave me the Russo Tote last Christmas, no need to go to the store to check it out. (*wink). 

Here's my thoughts about the Christy Ng Russo Tote:

• According to their website the bag is made from coated canvas (sturdy and waterproof) and vegan leather.  When you touch you can easily say that it was made from high quality materials.  

• The interior is made from thick fabric making it more durable than the other totes where they use thin or nylon fabrics.

• The stitching is great.

• The bag is spacious (just like any other tote) It comes with a detachable envelope pouch (where you can keep your cash, bank cards & etc) and a false bottom (it helps bottom of the bag to keep a nice shape).
• One the disadvantages of the bag was it's weight.  It was kinda heavy.  Unlike the Goyard St,Louis - it was lightweight.
• Another disadvantage was it does not have a zip enclosure.

Other information about the bag:

• The Russo Tote comes in three sizes: Mini (7.8" x 7.8" x 4.4"), Medium (12.5" x 8.7" x 5.2") and Large (18" x 10" x 5.5");
• It also comes in a 14 colors;

Verdict: 4.5 of 5

Will I recommend the Russo Tote bag?

Definitely yes!  Having Goyard feels, it's spacious, made from high quality materials... a must buy.
