Why people still choose to bring their car instead of using public transport

source: Google People still choose to bring their car because of safety, convenience, comfort, time saving.  Some say that public transport can be cost-effective and environmentally friendly, but based on my personal experience it's not applicable here in the Philippines. source: shutterstock.com SAFETY : Yes safety is number one for me, aside from convenience and personal comfort - I find it safer to bring my car to work and wherever I wanted to go.  Years ago, when I was commuting home via jeepney: (1) I saw a man snatched the bracelet of the student sitting in front of me in broad daylight.  (2) During my high school days I used to commute from school to home and I felt the man beside trying to touch me covering his hands with his backpack, I was so afraid.  Good thing someone got off the jeepney, I transferred seat right away.  From that time I had this trauma of riding a jeep without a companion.  That's why when I started working one of the things I w...

Pag-ibig MP2 Withdrawal update♥

source: Google At last after almost two months of waiting, I finally got my Pag-ibig MP2 Investment .  Yes it took a while because I have encountered a problem with the withdrawal.  I don't know but I find it unusual.   The Story: Two weeks (March 26, 2025) after I have submitted my withdrawal application at the Pag-ibig Fund Kiosk at Robinsons Metro East .  I received a text message : That I need to confirm the payment under my nickname and attach a proof of payment.  I am kind of shock about this because how did they learn about my nickname.  Good thing, I print all my GCash payment confirmation receipts.   I went right away at the Kiosk the following day and presented the documents they have requested.  I told the Pag-ibig staff that it should not be a problem, it does not matter who sent the payment as long as the account number is correct.  She said that the Pag-ibig Antipolo office questioned why I have 2 deposits/payments ...

Bag Charm Collection (Part 1)♥

Hello!  I know it's been a while since my last post.  Now that the tax season is over... I want to share my bag charm collection... sharing this not to brag but I really wanted to share my collection through the years.  I really love bag charms ever since... My love for bags goes with it.  I wanted my bags to be unique and I know it shows my personality when I hang a particular bag charm on it. I will be sharing the charms I have except for the Labubu charms (on another post).  Maybe I will start with my Sanrio bag charms .  Some of my bag charms has a story: it's either a souvenir from the countries I have visited, "pasalubong" from family and friends or gifts. This was my first Hello Kitty plushie bag charm which I purchased from Bead Shop an online shop on Instagram way back 2016.  This is almost 10 years old.  I remember I used this twice only because I am afraid that it will get dirty. I got this from Kyoto, Japan when I traveled there las...

Snoopy & Peanuts Collaborations 2025♥

Snoopy is a beagle from the comic strip made by Charles Schulz .  This debuted in the 1950's but I was a fan since I was in high school (in the 80's).  I remember I have this poster that I framed and hanged it at my bedroom.  Anyway,  to celebrate Snoopy and Peanuts' 75th year more collaborations are coming out. source: Starbucks Philippines Snoopy x Starbucks was launched last March 27, 2025: aside from merchandise the collaboration also includes Snoopy signature drinks - Chocolate & Caramel Oat milk Latte and Chocolate & Caramel Oat milk Frappuccino.   The collection includes the following merchandise: Cold cups in Stainless steel and Plastic , Stainless steel tumbler , stainless steel water bottle , Ceramic mugs , bag charm/key chain , tote bag and purse . My Pag-ibig MP2 have matured♥

Five years already?  That was fast.  I remember when I started with Pag-ibig MP2 back in March 11, 2020.  After my first remittance of P500.00 via Palawan - then pandemic started.  I was not able to continue my monthly remittance because of the lock down.  When it was lifted I resumed my MP2 remittance and decided to increase my remittance to P1,000.00 per month.  At this time GCash has already started accepting MP2 remittance payments so it's very convenient with a P5.00 transaction fee as compared to Palawan's P7.00 per transaction. When your MP2 savings matures, there are two ways to claim it: via Online Claim via Virtual Pag-ibig or Over the Counter Claim .  Since there's Pag-ibig Kiosk near my office, I preferred the OTC Claim.  But if you would like to do an Online Claim you can find the instructions online via Virtual Pag-ibig website. Here are the things I prepared for my Over the Counter Claim: Accomplished Claim Form :  Clic...

Denim & Jeans Trends 2025♥

They say jeans never go out of style... but this 2025 we will see more of new denim silhouettes and styles.  From your classic straight or skinny.. be ready for the return of the flare, baggy and the boot cut.  One my favorites in this returning trend is the "wide leg denims".   Remember denims does not only mean jeans per se, but also tops, jackets, skirts and shorts. Here are some of  the denim trends you will see this year: * The Co-ords (Double Denims) :    Why settle on wearing one denim when you can wear two, right?   An oversized denim shirt + Wide leg high waist denim jogger.  This is one of my faves, aside from I love coordinates dressing: I  am also into wide leg trousers, because I find it comfortable to wear.   Source: Zara Denim Cape + Shorts : The cape gives a different take on the usual denim jacket.  For sure it will also look good when you pair it with your favorite jeans.
