My Planner Story♥

Been to this planner thingy just this year... I am a craft and scrapbook enthusiast, but due to my busy schedule I need to put that aside for a couple of years.  Now am back to what I really love.  I realized that this is what really de-stresses me.  After all day numbers at work seeing cutie stickers and crafting supplies makes me giddy.

My current planner & DIY planner charm

 I do love collecting planners, but I don't really write on them... Starbucks planner collection (hihi) I just love seeing them piled up on my table.   At the moment I have 2 planners (used in planner decorating), one for work and the other an A5 Ever New Planner which I leave at my home.  Oh I have another one a Kate Spade Rose gold Wellesley.  

I am a little kuripot (miserly) when it comes to planner supplies, though I sometimes splurge on pens, but when it comes to stickers I just print those I find online.  That's why I love Pinterest so much! 

I also make my own planner tassels and paper clips. (*wink-wink)

The Little Twins Stars ribbon tassel is my first take in making a ribbon tassel.  But I have also did some made from yarn.

This coming month's Spread - it's Afternoon High tea time theme♥

Choosing the theme on my weekly spread really depends on my mood.  But if you browse the pages of my planner I am into pastels, pink, gold, bronze and of course Hello Kitty will always be present every time I do my planner photo shoot. :)

I am more of a minimalist when it comes to planner design, because I want to have more spaces to write on,

Plains and Prints: Heart of Fashion♥

October is Breast cancer awareness month: Plains and Prints partnered with our country's top designers - Maureen Disini, Rhett Eala, Rajo Laurel, Vania Romoff and Randy Ortiz in one common cause to raise awareness and defeat breast cancer.  

They came up with a collection known as "Heart of Fashion" in support of ICanServe foundation.

This was Ms. Disini's first collaboration with the brand.

Rhett Eala have been designing for Plains and Prints since 2012 and his debut collection was Santorini inspired 2012 Summer collection.

Rajo Laurel : Shantel and Sophia dresses

Spring/Summer 2011 Collection - Space Odyssey was one of the collaborations of Rajo Laurel with Plains and Prints.  If I remembered it right, I think the first one was when the brand ambassador of P&P was Paula Taylor.

Randy Ortiz : Adela dress with bib and Carmen dress

His first with Plains and Prints was in 2009 the collection was inspired by Philippines fashion icons Charlene Gonzales, Kris Aquino, Lucy Torres and etc.

Vania Romoff : Margaret off shoulder and Clara tube dresses

This was also her first partnership with Plains and Prints.  She's the designer  behind the clothes that Anne Curtis wore in Solenn Heusaff and Isabelle Daza's wedding and Cristalle Belo's wedding dress she wore on her civil wedding (silk gown with hand stitched floral appliqué) held in The Peninsula Manila early this month.

Of course I have my personal fave, though all of them are amazing pieces..

PCPH Planner Party 2016♥

It was my first time to attend a Planner party!  I never thought it will be that exciting.  I went to the party with my sister who is a planner enthusiast also like me.  Well we both like crafting, "art" runs in our blood... we breathe "art"! (Hahaha)  My ate (older sis) is a Fine Arts advertising graduate and me I'm a frustrated interior designer. (*wink!)  

Anyway, it was a great experience: meeting planner lovers like me.  After the registration attendees are given cutie charms with our names.  On the tables were loot boxes (for each of us) full of planner goodies from sponsors, and we're advised not to open them until the end of the party.

Vintage Theme - Planner design

We were divided into groups:  I am so happy with my group mates (it was the Best group ever!) - Des, Maricris, Christine, Nyds (my sis). We all have common interests aside from planning of course:  We're all into "vintage" themes.  On one of the fun games: the impromptu planner designing - We WON : The Best Planner design! ;)

Aside from that we (our group) also got major prices in the raffle.  Me - I got the one given my Deco Art, it includes one planner, planner pouch and 2 pens.  And I so love them! 

We are asked to bring exchange gift worth minimum of P200.00.  I got these from Ms. Joan (one of the organizers of the event).

Attendees are close to 50!  And everyone didn't go home empty handed...
