Luxe egg carton♥

Can you just image an egg carton as a luxury bag?
In the 2014 Fall collection of Chanel they have introduced grocery or supermarket inspired items.  There are several pieces that caught my attention and this is one of them.
Actually when I researched about the bag, it was not actually a bag as expected it was a jewelry organizer.

When you open it:  looks like this!  And I totally love it!♥
Being a lover and collector of accessories I find this very interesting... unique... and of course it's Chanel!

Look what's the Happy meal toy at McDonalds Malaysia! I totally drool!!! Baking + Hello Kitty = ♥♥♥

I wonder why McDonalds Philippines don't carry Hello Kitty items on their Happy Meal anymore?

Feeling hopeful...

Easy to prepare: BBQ Chicken and Supreme Pizza♥

Finally!  I am really happy that now my niece Ysl is beginning to love cooking.. I started to love cooking and baking when I was 6 or 7 years old, baked my first chiffon cake at 12 (with the influence of my Titas: Linda and Pining).

Last Sunday, the kids were craving for pizza and my sister told me that she have pizza crust on the fridge.  So I checked out what ingredients are available to make a quick and easy to prepare pizza for the hungry tummies! :)

Supreme Pizza ala Ysbela:

Ingredients:

Del monte pizza sauce
Sweet ham, cut into small squares
Onions, chopped
Green bell pepper, chopped
Cheese, grated
Gourmet pizza crust
Olive oil

Procedure:
1. Pre-heat oven at 270 degrees
2. Grease your baking sheet with olive oil, before putting the pizza crust.
3. Put an ample amount of pizza sauce on the crust.
4. Top with ham, onions, bell pepper and grated cheese. (You may also add: mushrooms and pineapple tidbits)
5. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes
6. Cut into 8 slices, serves 4 to 5

Notes: Why I called this ala Ysabela? Because Ysl is the one who prepared this one.

BBQ Chicken Pizza ala Ditche

Ingredients:

4 pcs. Chicken thigh fillet, cut into small pieces
1/4 cup Mama Sita's barbeque marinade
Barbeque sauce
Onions, chopped
Garlic, chopped
Cheese, grated
Gourmet pizza crust
Olive oil

1. Pre-heat oven 270 degrees.
2. Marinate chicken fillet  with barbeque marinade for about 15 to 20 minutes.
3. Grill or fry the chicken fillet, set aside.
4. Grease your baking sheet with olive oil, before putting the pizza crust.
5. Put an ample amount of barbeque sauce on the crust.
6. Top with barbeque chicken, onions, garlic and grated cheese.
7. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes
8. Cut into 8 slices, serves 4 to 5

The BBQ chicken is an impromtu pizza... just saw a barbeque sauce in the fridge. It's called ala Ditche: basically it's one of my classic "imbento" thingy... Tried to make something out of what is available and luckily they loved it!

Happy cooking!♥

Deeply saddened by the news this morning...
My heart goes out to all the relatives of the passengers and crew (including 3 Filipinos) who was believed to be shot downed by a missile in Ukraine.  This is truly heartbreaking...
Let's all pray for world peace!!! And denounce all kinds of terrorist attacks...

Dreaming about Sydney♥

Sydney Opera House
Yes, I am dreaming about going back to Sydney soon... The place is really close to my heart, aside from being the first country I have toured:  this is where some of cousins live now (they migrated there in the 80's).

I remember when I was between 5 or 6 years old my Ninang gifted me with a musical koala doll, and from that time it became a part my wishlist to see a live koala bear.  That came true when I first went to Sydney for a holiday in 2004.  (felt like a child again... when I saw a koala at Taronga Zoo).

Three Sisters Blue Mountain
One of the breathtaking sites we went to was the Blue Mountains (Three sisters).  It was called Blue mountain because it looks bluish on the human eye.  It was also included on the World heritage list of 2000.  So if you are planning a trip down under try visiting this site.

The ferry ride going to Taronga Zoo...

and look at our feathered companion...

Finally at Taronga Zoo...

It feels so good looking back at my last holiday Down under in 2011... Hopefully I can comeback again soon...♥

Hello Kitty x Badz Maru = HK Bubbly World♥

Last of the 6 designs of Hello Kitty Bubbly world which was released by McDonalds Singapore.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to complete all 6 but lucky enough to have 3. (from my loving friends)  Badz Maru was one of the designs I wanted aside from the My Melody.  Wasn't that successful in getting the Tuxedo Sam though..  Anyway, having 3 is not bad at all knowing that these cuties are only sold in Singapore.

Still happy of having 3/6 for my Hello Kitty Collection!♥

Notes: Thanks to my friend Bernard and Janice for this!♥♥♥

FAB TIP: Costume Jewelries TLC♥

Not all the sparkly statement jewelry you see are real diamonds, gems, pearls...but this does not mean that you will not take care of them.  I love accessories... actually I have tons of them at home from rings, neck pieces, wrist wears and etc.  But I make sure I care for them like my real ones.

Since I am on online selling I also shared these tips on my page:

As a BASIC rule in caring for your costume jewelry: we should store them in cool dry place, me I use acrylic containers, boxes, organza pouches or zip lock bags.  Yes, we should avoid contact with perfume, lotions and even make up: metals absorbs these substances thus result to tarnishing.

In cleaning: I make it a point to wipe them with tissue paper, clean cotton cloth after each use.  This helps in removing any sweat, dirt, oil and etc. that the jewelry absorbed through out the day.  Like for example my Pandora I use a polishing cloth to bring back it's luster: I have discussed this on my previous post. You can also use the jewelry polishing cloth in cleaning the metals of your accessories.  Avoid using metal polish on your gold, silver or rose gold plated jewelry, for this may discolor them.  To clean your gemstones, just wipe  it moist/damp cloth or you may use a soft-bristled toothbrush + mild hand soap.  Put a small amount of hand soap on the toothbrush and gently scrub the gems, don't forget to wipe it with clean cloth before storing them.

Happy cleaning!♥
