Mochi turns One♥

I know every fur parents will relate... some may think it's crazy but I don't really care.  It's my first time to be a fur mum, and I realized that I should've adopted a dog before.  But maybe it's destiny too, because Mochi came into my life in the time of the pandemic.  Mochi gave me and my family unconditional love, that really goes straight to our hearts.  Last August 15, our little Mochi turned 1 year old.

In line with his celebration I hosted Mochi's first barkday giveaway on his Instagram account @everydaywithmochi.  It was just a small giveaway because it's a double celebration - aside from turning one year old, he reached 1,000 followers.  Actually he has more followers than me haha.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank his generous sponsors : @kre8tive_bunch , @fabulouschqpets and @resinshineph.

I ordered Mochi's cake from Barkin' Blends and additional numnums. We shared some of his cakes and numnums to our other 2 doggies (aspins - Raffy and Zsazsa).

I also baked chiffon cupcakes with buttercream frosting and cooked linguine with garlic and chicken pasta for his celebration. For the chimken (chicken) we just ordered from KFC (which is a special request of my 2 nephews).♥

Mochi got his own special pasta without sauce but with boiled chicken breast and carrots.  I also gave him a cupcake without frosting,  and of course the goodies from Barkin' Blends. 

My prayer is for Mochi to be healthy always... Although he is considered an adult dog, but he will always be my puppy forever.♥♥♥

Furla Opportunity Tote♥

Wanting to have that Dior book tote but you don't have a budget?  Furla recently came out with a great substitute for that most coveted tote at a very reasonable price.  

The Furla Opportunity Tote - a shopping bag with two top handles, made from Jacquard embossed ethnic Arch logo material.  The tote also comes in 2 sizes (small and large)

The Small tote comes with a removable leather strap and measures  27cm x 20cm x 14cm.  It also have an inner zip pocket and metal feet studs.

New Hello Kitty Items x Japan Home : Part 2♥

As promised here is the part 2 of the new items of Hello Kitty at Japan Home Centre:  these includes water jugs or carafes, pitchers, jars, organizing trays, crates and etc.  What I love about their new items - is that I can really use them at home.  

Can you just imagine opening your fridge and finding these cuties inside.  Got these carafes the moment I saw them.  All are made of glass so you can fill these bottles with your favorite beverages.

Aside from the water jugs there are also pitchers available.  I know I can't buy everything so I really chose what I really wanted.  And honestly, it's really hard because all of them are beautiful in my eyes. 

For the pitcher I got this one.  It's similar to the ones we have in the house.  Because of it's slim body it will not take so much space in the refrigerator or our kitchen cabinet.

There are also a wide range of jars available.  I bought a couple them also.  And I am still hoping to get more but when I went to the nearest store it was already sold out.  I hope they will restock them.

The Cutlery storage, you can also use this for other things aside from your utensils.  You can also place drinking straws, pens, pencils and etc.  I got 2 of this - one for home and the other for office use.

The collapsible storage crate this comes in 2 designs / colors the (1) red, white and blue, and (2) the lavender.   I already got the lavender, but I think I am going to get also the RWB one because aside from being collapsible it is also stackable.

For those who are obsessed with organizing, these trays are also great addition to your storage options.  It comes in 2 colors and sizes.

A Decade of Fabulousity♥

I can still remember when I first opened my online boutique in Multiply, it was August 5, 2011.  When according to Chinese Feng shui, August is a ghost month and you should not open or start a business.  I was not into Feng shui that time but a few years after I checked that the ghost month in 2011 started on the 14th.  But I guess the stars lined up (for me) and through the graces and blessings from God... my business is still here.

I thought that the closure of Multiply site is the end of that, but fortunately I was able to open a page on Facebook then later on I created an account on Instagram and continued what I have started.  

Having a business is a walk in the park... I started making handmade accessories, headbands and then tried retailing (upon request of my clients/customers).  I source my items abroad, I pack and ship them myself, in short I am a one man band... But complaining is not in my vocabulary because I love what I'm doing.  I grew up with my grandparents who have store in the palengke (market) and in a way selling or having a store is not new to me.

Yes, I have experienced a lot in running my online boutique.. Aside from being friends with my loyal customers, I also encountered bogus buyers and joy reservers.  But that did not stop me, because I know it's a part of the online selling world.  Though I am more careful with who I transact with.

Online selling during this time of pandemic, in my case it's a bit of a struggle.  Since my products are not essential (though in the first few weeks of the lockdown I was able to source and sell face masks and face shield) it's not easy but I did not give up.  At the moment it's surviving and I am thankful... Everyday I always include my boutique in my prayers.. and I am glad that it's still here (but I hope the health crisis we're facing will end soon).

As I have said before, having my own boutique is a childhood dream...  I am just living my dream... (*wink)

I would like to thank all of my clients or customers for patronizing my small business, my family for their support and last but not the least to God who blessed me with a gift in selling and for giving me strength everyday.. One of the reasons why I love selling and opened my own store is to keep the legacy of my grandparents... (and I know they watching me and guiding from heaven).♥♥♥
