Nowadays lots of women spend more time at work than at home.  Or may be if you have an home office space you spend a lot of time there. That's why it is considered an important space of us "women of the future".  Me, I like sprucing up my work space every now and then, I am a little OC: I always want all things on it's proper place. And of course I love cute and unique things.  Well this not about what's on our office desk, but what I have listed a couple of office desk emergency items.  (Because we can never predict if something happens, right?!) Mobile phone charger : this is a MUST!!! I have 2 mobile chargers since I have 2 phones, an iPhone and my ever reliable Nokia QWERTY phone.  I also carry a powerbank in my bag.  So it's no low batt phone for me wherever I go. I made this Cream Cheese Chicken spread last Saturday.  I wanted something different so I gave the traditional Chicken (sandwich) spread a twist.  There's no melba toast available at home so I just toasted an ordinary loaf and cut it into quarters and whoala! My canapes are ready for my afternoon tea. Cream Cheese Chicken Spread 1/4 kilo Chicken breast 1/2 package (112.50 grams) Magnolia Cream cheese 1 sachet Ladies Choice Mayonaise 1-1/2 tsp. soy sauce Fresh Parsley, chopped Onions, chopped (medium size) Salt & Pepper to taste Procedure: Cook the chicken breast until tender. Let it cool, then shred. In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, parsley and onions.  Stir in the softened cream cheese and mayonaise, mix well until combined. source: abs-cbn  After the finale episode of Forevermore last night, "Kung tayo" has been the trending phrase on social media.  For sure I will be hearing this more often everywhere...as well as the hugot lines that made a mark to the followers of the soap.   :) I know some or maybe everybody can easily relate to that scene.  Many of us have experienced this or have been in the same situation... or in a way dreaming: after watching that particular part to have the same "little forever" together with the love you've lost... We all have this kind of moment: dreaming of "What if's" or "If ever" ... let's admit it, even if we are in a good place or relationship now.  There are times we still hope for this... Not a good way to start the week... One of those stressful Mondays.  When I got to the office my staff told me that she cannot access her computer.  She is getting this error message when she tried to log in: "The user profile service failed to logon and the user profile cannot be loaded" .  I remember getting the same message last year.  And I was able to open the profile again, by following the step by step procedure. (The main reason for this is that you have a corrupted file).  First of all I am an accountant: but I really try my best to learn simple troubleshooting techniques, so every time, I encounter software or hardware problem/s I consult my IT friend.  I always have my "handy-dandy notebook" with me: to take note of the things I need to remember.  I can proudly say that I can do simple PC troubleshooting.  (not that super "galing" but good enough to save the company from the cost of repair service or wait for our IT personnel t...

Aren't they cute?  If you like cute things like me, I am sure you will like this... (*wink!) I went to National bookstore yesterday to buy gel pens and when I passed by the notebook shelves I saw these super cute notebooks with My Melody cover.  Got giddy because aside from Hello Kitty I also love My Melody.  I remember I have this My Melody compact when I was in high school and I still have it now, minus the comb.  Finding these cutie notebooks brought back memories.  Saving my allowance to buy pencil caps, scented pens, note pads from Gift gate.  I am also a Happy Saver's club depositor at Banco Filipino to get Sanrio freebies.  Now you need not go to Gift gate (Now Sanrio surprises) just to have these notebooks and other Sanrio items they are all over the place.  How I wish they have this before when I was still studying.
