Review: Vicks ZzzQuil Natura Sleep♥

For the past weeks I have been having a hard time to sleep.  (That's one of the reasons why I am MIA lately)  I tried almost all natural remedies and even tried taking antihistamine but no success.  I tried not using my mobile phone after dinner because the blue light restrains the production melatonin, the hormones that controls one's sleep-wake cycle. In one of my visits to Watsons I saw this Vicks' ZzzQuil Natura Sleep, find it kind of interesting to try.  But before purchasing it.  I researched online what comprise or the ingredients of the supplement. The ZzzQuil gummies' active ingredients include: Melatonin, Valerian Root extract, Chamomile Flower extract, Lemon Balm leaf extract, Lavender flower extract.   Directions for use as per package information: To take one to two gummies 30 minutes before bedtime.   I bought one bottle that contains 24 gummies (last Monday), good thing that when I decided to buy one there was a promo for Watso...

Chiquita - Riviére : Bonbon Collection♥

Finally launching this new project... after months of thinking, here it is.  For those who does not know Fabulousity by Chiq, it is my online boutique: started selling made to order bracelets, necklaces and headbands in 2010, and then it made a little shift to different kinds of product to suit the needs of my clients.  But I truly miss crafting.  When I had Mochi, there is something in me that is pushing me to relaunch my handmade products.  Not just of humans but also for our beloved pet. In April of last year, I have already opened my pet online boutique on Instagram @fabulouschqpets .  Because I wanted to make pets fabulous as the fur parents, who only wants nothing but the best for their fur babies. Now here is the first collection of Chiquita - Riviére: The Bonbon Collection.  Bonbon means candy in French.  The Collection is inspired by the sweetness and colourful candy balls that you can find in a candy shop.  Made from 20mm high quality be...

Mochi's first Pet Huddle PH event♥

It was our first time to go to a pet event.  I brought the 3 boys - my two nephews and our fur baby Mochi.  It was a great experience for the boys.  We seldom go to Bonifacio High Street (truly outside of our comfort zone) - but I really wanted Mochi to meet new dogs and to give the boys their much awaited reward (to have Gelato at Gelatissimo). We weren't able to catch the Pet blessing we came a little late because the parking is full we need to look for a space close to the event. On our way to the event booths we met Mosby (the Golden Retriever), I really adore Momo - groomer mate of Mochi at Mr. Paws.  Momo is the sweetest GR, unfortunately we weren't able to have a photo with him. Our next stop is at the Tiendita Mnl, one of booths I am looking forward in visiting.  They sell dog collars made by indigenous people in Mexico.  All the collars are lovely - the bright colors will surely look good in any pet's fur!  I bought two for Mochi.  It's r...

Tips: How to remove sticker residue on acrylic or plastic♥

I recently bought a couple of acrylic drawers from Furniture Source in SM Mega mall.  Just a little trivia: I am into acrylic containers  and I love acrylic organizers.  Anyway, let's go back to business, peeling off sticker / adhesive tags, labels can leave sticky residue on the surfaces. (which is kinda eeeky).   Once you peel off the sticker it leaves a gummy residue, and is really hard to remove.  Honestly, I tried using warm water but find it ineffective and at the same time I am a little bothered because it may ruin the acrylic.  I don't want to use any scraper also since it may leave scratches on the surface.  Then I remembered that when I have this PVC bag I used baby oil to remove the stubborn dirt.  So I tried it. And Whoala! It was effective! Here's what I did.  Religiously pour baby oil on the sticker.  Make sure the whole sticker is coated with oil.   Then wait for 10 to 15 minutes and peel it off.  ...

Tartufo Ristorante: New Go-to place♥

On my recent meet up with high school friends, to celebrate the achievements of their children, welcome our balikbayan friend... or just to catch up as simple as that.  We wanted to try something different outside our comfort zone.  We are used to go to either Eastwood City in Libis, Sta. Lucia East Mall or Edsa Shangrila Mall - these are our usual hangout place.  For a change they asked to me to look for a new go-to place.  Since I was regularly at The Grove by Rockwell because Mr. Paws is located there (Grooming Salon of Mochi), I often pass by this Italian restaurant - Tartufo Ristorante that I am meaning to try.  Last April 2nd, I/we were able to try it.   Truly an Italian ambiance as you walk inside the resto.  Good thing that when we went there for lunch: there are a few people inside (yes people we are still in the pandemic it's hard to eat out).  Because by late afternoon or early dinner, there are reservations already so we need to t...
